Funding
The Phoenix Way Group’s funding division works with employers to provide a complimentaryconsultancy service on funding available throughout the North West.
Last year we helped our clients access over £1 Million in funding which helped themto develop their skills.
North West Funding available in 2011:
- Funding provided by the Skills Funding Agency was announced 1st April 2011 – The Leadership and Management Grant will provide up to £1000 of matched funding for one leader or senior manager in the business. Applicable for businesses with 2-250 staff.
- The Leadership and Management Development Fund (LMDF) – Launched 24th January 2011 (40% Funding available). This Fund is available to ALL businesses in the North West. No limit to the size of company. Each organisation can access funding up to £1000 each. To apply please complete an LMDF application form.
- 100% Funding available for managers based in the North West who want to gain an NVQ in Management Level 3. This qualification has been blended with our ILM Level 3 Certificate training modules to give the benefit of additional learning. The additional modules include: Achieving objectives through time management, developing yourself and others, coaching and training your team, solving problems and making decisions, managing conflict in the work place, organising and delegating, effective meetings for managers. This is a 6 month programme with new groups starting each month commencing from January 2011.
- 16-18 Apprentischip Funding. Apprentices are paid £95 per week by employers whilst they complete a 12 month Apprentischip programme. The qualification is fully funded by the government.
- The £185 million North West Fund was launched in December 2010.The £185 million is split into 6 different funds. YFM Private Equity is running a £45m development capital fund, Enterprise Ventures is running a £30m venture capital fund, FW Capital is responsible for a £30m business loan fund and sector specialists Spark Impact, CT Investment Partners and AXM Venture Capital will run a £25m biomedical fund, a £15m energy and environmental fund and a £15m digital & creative fund respectively.
