The Apprentice Academy

Although many UK employers have recently experienced challenging conditions, confidence is returning. Within the UK, the North West is a top region, with Greater Manchester being one of the largest and fastest growing regions outside of London. To continue this success, it is essential that there is a fresh pool of talent for employers to recruit from.

In 2009 The Phoenix Way Group set up the Apprentice Academy to engage with talented 16-18 year olds looking for their first job opportunity.

The apprentice service starts by matching the needs of employers with the right apprentice for their business. Government funding is then utilised to give the apprentice a qualification, as well as our own advanced training which is delivered by our Centre of Excellence. This ensures the rapid development of key skills that are essential if the apprentice is to be successful in the organisation.

Apprenticeships range from office apprentices, to sales, engineering, retail and construction to name but a few. The Apprentice Academy’s specialism is office based apprenticeships, placing talented Office Apprentices into a diverse range of clients from PR & Advertising Agencies, to Accountants, Manufacturers, Public services, Charities and Law Firms.
